The police in North Carolina told ABC 11 that there have been 20 reported cases of sexual assault after using a dating app in Charlotte. In 2017, only 15 cases had been reported.

Wolf + Friends (iOS) founders Carissa Tozzi and Gena Mann noticed a need for community among moms raising special needs children. They created one with their app named after Tozzi's son, Wolf.
"We felt that moms raising special needs kids felt isolated," Tozzi told Download.com. " We knew we were going to fill a need."
